The scarves AN-NEE jostle the classic compositions,
they are paintings of a new kind.
Alexia does not fear the emptiness like a calligrapher mastering the art of fullness and looseness.
All drawings are hand-made, with felt or pen, a
demanding creative process which knows the value of time.
We can not escape time.
The philosophy of AN-NEE feeds on this absolute.
Throughout her collections, Alexia sets the metaphor of time,
which makes the real intelligible and gives the measure of
everything. Often cause for concern, it is here inspiring.
Watch it pass, fear it, love it and hate it.
Delay it, take it. Get it. Kill it.
(Lose it) catch it up.
After a fashion design degree from LISAA in Paris and
visual communication studies at ECV, Alexia Nokovitch cuts her
teeth as an intern in big houses.
She realizes her first textile prints at Jean-Charles De
Castelbajac, before collaborating at Hermès with the
whole team of the Silk Artistic Direction.
With these experiences, Alexia creates AN-NEE in 2016
and fits today into the landscape of young designer
AN-NEE is now distributed at Printemps in Paris and at
around 50 points of sale in France and abroad.
